  1. Matthew 5:21-24

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches that we should reconcile with those we have wronged.

    1. 21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
    2. 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
    3. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
    4. 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
  2. Matthew 6:25-33

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches not to be anxious about physical needs.

    1. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
    2. 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
    3. 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
    4. 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
    5. 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
    6. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
    7. 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
    8. 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
    9. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  3. Matthew 7:12

In the Semon on the Mount, Jesus gives what is now known as the Golden Rule.

    1. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
  4. Matthew 7:1

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches about judgment.

    1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.
  5. Matthew 7:24-27

Jesus gives the parable of the men who built their respective houses on rock and sand.

    1. 24 ¶ Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
    2. 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
    3. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
    4. 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
  6. Numbers 6:24-26

Jesus prays this prayer when He prays over his disciples.

    1. 24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
    2. 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
    3. 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
  7. Luke 8:3

  8. Luke 24:10
